Games Plus Store Return Policy

Our goal is that you are completely satisfied with your purchase. If you need to return merchandise, please note that an original receipt or email confirmation is required for all returns and exchanges. Valid photo id required. Most items can be returned for merchandise credit 30 days from purchase date. See restrictions below.

Returns and exchanges must be in the original packaging and contain all the original accessories. Refunds will be issued with store/site merchandise credit with the exception of purchases made by gift certificates where credits will be given as a new certificate. Refunds will only be issued in the event that an item purchased online is no longer available after customer checkout is completed.
  • Opened music, movies, computer software, video games, and collectibles, if defective, may be exchanged for an identical item. For up to 7 days after purchase.
  • Other items with open packaging and/or labels that have been removed, including folding guest beds, air/inflatable beds, continuous air bouncers, water slides, pools, gas powered lawn equipment, power tools, scooters over $149.99, specialty occasion clothing, video camera/camcorders, handbags, jewelry and watches will only be eligible for an exchange to an identical item or a substantially similar item of equal value. Up to 30 days from date of purchase.
  • If you return an item for an exchange, the replacement merchandise that you receive cannot be returned for refund, it is only eligible for exchange.
  • Returns and exchanges are not allowed on any custom or special orders, including special order jewelry.
  • We reserve the right to limit or decline a refund or exchange. International returns will be on a case by case basis.
  • Original shipping fees will not be refunded or credited.
  • In the event of a credit or exchange return shipping will be the buyers responsibility.
  • After the relevant time period for exchange or return has passed, the manufacturer’s return policy applies. Not all items on this site retain the manufacturer’s warranty.
  • Some items are subject to restocking fees.

Promotional Items and Bundles

When a promotional item is returned, the value of the promotional item will be deducted from the credit amount. For example, if you buy a TV that includes a free Blu-ray player, the total value of the Blu-ray player will be deducted from the refund if the Blu-ray player is not returned with the TV.
When a bundle is purchased and only part of the bundle is returned, the bundle discount is void, and the total bundle discount will be deducted from the refund. For example, if you receive $200 in savings when you purchase a laptop and printer together and you return either item, the $200 bundle savings will be subtracted from your exchange credit.

Nonreturnable Items

  • Labor, delivery and/or completed Games Plus installation services
  • Some prepaid cards, digital subscriptions or services
  • Consumable items such as food, drinks and batteries
  • Ink/Toner cartridges that have had their factory sealed packaging opened
  • Items that are damaged or abused
  • Items that are missing accessories such as remote controls, cords and cables
  • Etched or otherwise personalized items
  • Opened computer software, movies, music and video games can be exchanged for the identical item but cannot be returned for a refund
  • Downloadable digital content (such as games and movies)
  • Microphones, harmonicas and similar products
  • Non-defective special orders
  • Return and exchange shipments from outside the country

How To Return Items

Games Plus Online merchandise can be returned in several ways:
Scheduled-delivery items (Appliances, treadmills, big-screen TVs, etc.)
  • By scheduled pick up
  • To the Games Plus store*
Shipped items (UPS, US Postal Service, etc.)

Returning to Games Plus Store
Here’s what to do to return your item to a Games Plus store:
  • Place the item securely in the original package, if possible, keeping jewelry and other items separate
  • Include all paperwork, parts and accessories
  • Fill out the bottom of the packing slip, including the reason for your return, and put it in the package

How To Cancel an Order

In the event you would like to cancel your order, it will have to be done within 1 hour of placing the order.  If request is not received in that time frame. Your order will be subject to Games Plus Returns Policy and shipped as originally ordered.

Cancelling Store Pickup Orders

Store pickup orders can be canceled at any time prior to actual pickup. Call the store. Restocking fee will be charged. For store information, use our (insert link for contact info).

How to Order

We make it easy. Throughout our site, whenever you see a product you’d like to purchase, simply click Add to Cart and the item will be added to your Shopping Cart. There are many ways to find what you’re looking for: search by type of product, brand name, item or keyword, or by browsing categories and featured items.

Once you’ve clicked Add to Cart on an item:

  • If the item you have selected has additional options or accessories, the Product Options page will display. If there are no additional options or accessories, you will go straight to the Shopping Cart.
  • Your Shopping Cart will be displayed. From your Shopping Cart, you can continue shopping, save your Shopping Cart for purchase at a later date, or continue to check out.
  • Once you choose to Check Out, you’ll provide your billing and shipping information.
  • If the item you have selected qualifies for home delivery, the Set-up, Haul-Away & Installation page will display for you to choose set-up, haul-away and installation specifics, as applicable. You will also be able to choose a delivery date from the Delivery Scheduling page. If your selection does not require home delivery or installation, you will be taken directly to the Review Order and Specify Payment Method screen. (Coming soon.)
  • You’ll have a chance to review your total order, including any discounts, tax, and shipping costs. If you’re satisfied, you’ll provide your credit card information to complete your secure transaction.
  • You will then see an Order Confirmation screen which indicates we’ve received your order and gives you a confirmation number for your order.
  • We’ll send an email confirmation within 24 hours to let you know your order has been processed. This email is your receipt and will include your confirmation number, verification of the items purchased, your shipping and delivery information, and any applicable rebate forms.
  • Try FREE Store Pickup as a more convenient option to purchase the product at the sale price. Only available in Illinois.

Things to know:

  • Check your profile/order center for estimated delivery dates on your orders, including tracking numbers
  • Items from one order may be shipped in multiple packages
  • Any free shipping promotions advertised on this site do not apply to international buyers.
  • International packages can take from 7-30 days to be delivered. These times will vary based on travel and customs processing.
  • Games Plus is not responsible for any Customs Taxes, Duties, Fees or Processing times.

Over-sized Shipping

Certain products and/or brands require special handling, are too fragile, over-sized or weigh more than 150 pounds are Store pickup only.

Local Delivery

When you need it right away, Games Plus has these special delivery services to make your life easier. With Local Delivery, we pick up purchases from multiple merchants and bring them all to your doorstep. Delivery fee will apply. Local Delivery is currently only available in parts of Illinois. Preparing Your Home for Delivery

Here’s what to expect from our delivery experts and how to get your home ready.

Customer Responsibilities…

  • A responsible adult, 18 years or older, must be present during delivery.
  • Put all house pets in a separate area from the delivery path
  • If merchandise is to be left on the porch, garage or outside, a responsible neighbor or representative must accompany the Delivery Team and sign for delivery.
  • In inclement weather, please make sure there is a clear path from the street to the residence entrance (no ice, snow, debris, etc.)
Home Delivery will be made on the date selected after item is purchased we will contact you. If you don’t select a date at checkout, you will receive a call or email with the delivery date.

How to Reschedule Your Delivery

To reschedule your delivery, please call us at 1-773-455-5399 9am-7pm and have your order number and the phone number that was used when your order was placed handy.

Your Delivery Window

  • Games Plus will contact you on the evening before your delivery with a 2-hour delivery time window. (Note: If the delivery time message is left on your voicemail, no confirmation is necessary.)
  • Until 7:00pm on the evening before your delivery, you can also call 1-773-455-5399 for your delivery window.
  • Failure to be at the delivery address during the delivery window will result in a rescheduled delivery and additional fees may apply.

How can I find out if a product is available in-store or online?

Most of the products listed on Games Plus are available in store, unless otherwise noted.

Is the selection the same online and in-store?

Product selection on may vary from our store. There may be limited quantities or we may be testing certain items in select markets. Also, we can offer a broader selection online because we may ship these items directly from our distributors. Availability can change without notice. If the items sells in store or becomes back-ordered by the manufacturer, we reserve the right to cancel your order. In some cases we my contact you to see if you would like a different color or exchange the item. In most cases a refund will be issued.

Some items on the Games Plus website are subject to prior sale, availability subject to change without notice.

Most the products listed on this site are available in store, therefore they can be purchased in person and online availability will change. In the event that a purchase is made in store, item will no longer be available to purchase online and purchase will be canceled and money refunded.  We reserve the right to cancel or limit any order made online.


Store Pickup

Store Pickup lets you buy items online and pick them up in a store. You avoid shipping and scheduled delivery charges – and you may be able to get your order faster.

Here’s how it works:

  • During checkout, choose Store Pickup.. (ONLY AVAILABLE IN ILLINOIS)
  • Place your order and wait to receive a “Ready for pickup” e-mail. (This is a separate e-mail from your order confirmation.)
  • Bring your ID, credit card, and order number to the store and pick up your items.
  • We’ll hold your items at the store for 8 days. If you don’t make it in by then, we’ll cancel the order and a store credit will be issused, in the form of a eGift card or Coupon.
  • If order is not picked up a restocking fee will apply. And You will be issued a merchandise credit or gift certificate.
  • In the event if you choose store pickup and the item ordered is no longer in stock, or unavailable for immediate pick up you will be notified by email with further options.

Bring to the store:

  1. Your government-issued photo ID
  2. The credit card used for the purchase (if a credit card was used). OR PAYPAL PAYMENT CONFIRMATION.
  3. Your order number.

Who can pick up your order

At this time only the person who placed the order with government-issued photo ID and credit card can pick up the order.


Pre-ordered items will be available for pickup on or after their release date.

Ship to Store

Some items may not be immediately available for pickup at your local store, but can be shipped to your store for free. Ship-to-store items usually arrive at the store within 3 to 7 business days. We’ll send you an e-mail when your items are ready for pickup.

Changing or canceling Store Pickup

To change or cancel a Store Pickup order, call us at 773-455-5399 until 7pm or email 24 hours

  • To switch from Shipping to Store Pickup, call or email within one hour of placing your order.
  • To switch from Store Pickup to Shipping, call any time.
  • If you’re calling to cancel a Store Pickup order, please have your credit card information handy.
  • Restocking fee may apply.
  • If not canceled within 1 hour, store credit will be issued in the form of eGift Card or coupon.

A few more things to know:

  • There’s no charge for Store Pickup.
  • Products may be larger than expected due to their packaging. Please keep this in mind when considering what vehicle you use to pick up your order.
  • Allow extra time to pick up large items like TVs and appliances.
Restocking Fee, Special Order Cancellation Fee
A 15% restocking fee is charged when applicable see terms.
